Ready or not - I am here and dazzling with Energy. An aspiring Life Coach and Consultant. My passion for people and helping people overcome their obstacles has brought me to where I am today. Simply - I love people.
Coaching is in my heart
I worked for Standard Bank, being one of the biggest banks in Southern Africa. Rooted as a call centre agent and grew my way into Quality Assessor and blossomed into the Workplace Coach by the end my journey with Standard bank. Coaching is in my heart, in fact I have always been a coach. I believe, with the “right” questions, we can get people to reach their potential and also learn along their journey .
Training and development around HIV
Moving on to an Insurance company, AllLife, being one of the only life insurance companies in the world to provide life insurance for people living with HIV. At AllLife I wore numerous “hats”, my favourite being Training and Development leader. I coached , trained and recruited staff. I played a big role in developing the material and other processes such as coaching, training, recruiting – mostly about HIV. I strongly believe that HIV is manageable disease and not a death sentence, and that if people are equipped to effectively manage their health, we will have halved the crisis and stigma around HIV.
Empowering young girls
Being active in an NGO named 18twenty8 - a network that empowers young girls through education. I have set myself a goal, to equip as many people as I can with the necessary tools from the knowledge I possess and the resources available to me.
UBUNTU
And now I am entering into the world of abundant learning Kessels and Smit. I am looking forward to understanding the culture and the way in which things and people work. I am passionate about learning and therefore know that I am at the right place being here ties in line with what I love doing and what I aspire to be. I am very excited mostly at the fact that I am working with such incredible people and look forward to opportunities of working with EVERYONE. South Africa is full of opportunity and I cannot wait to start making a difference.
In summary, I am a strong believer of UBUNTU*.
*UBUNTU – “A person with Ubuntu is open and available to others, affirming of others, does not feel threatened that others are able and good, for he or she has a proper self-assurance that comes from knowing that he or she belongs in a greater whole and is diminished when others are humiliated or diminished, when others are tortured or oppressed.” Archbishop Desmond Tutu
